15 Nov - Day 2 of hongkong trip

2nd day

Wake up early in the morning bcuz we wanted to reach hongkong earlier. Had our breakfast at Zhuhai as its cheap and nice. We had xiao long bao, handmade noodle and beef fried rice. Was very cheap below $10 sgd and taste quite nice especially the xiaolong bao was very cheap tink only $2 for 10 of it.

After our breakfast, we cross the custom to return to Macau and than to the ferry terminal to get to Hongkong. Journey was very long at 1hr but ride was not bad thus we slp til we reach. Once there, we went to our hotel at mongkok area. Found it but turn out there is no room! Ya we nv book the hotel cuz we thought normal day should have room. Anyway we juz search for another one and we get it with a higher price. After resting in the hotel, we head to Central where we had our dinner at Aijisan Ramen. We had Ramen, Garlic beef and bento meal. Of cuz the price same as singapore but tink everyting in hk cost more.

After our dinner, we head to the peak. The view was amazing and the ride up by tram was fun. We visit the Mdm Tussad wax museum and take picture with majority of the wax figures. We had haggen dazs ice cream there which cost like $10 sgd for 2 scoop. Anyway i like the wind up there cuz it feel like u are in aircon room but yet so much better. After which we went to lan kwai fan where ppl drink and chill at.

Okie since i am free i will write down the hk journey and with the pic taken:

Day 1 13/14 Nov:

As it was jo bdae thus we had our dinner with her family at some chinese resturant at amoy st. Food was not very nice juz plain normal. After tat we went to her place to play mahjong as it was her bdae and she love mahjong so i juz had to join in with linus and her bro. End of the game both me and jo win $5 each. Pretty good result since i seldom win =)

After the mahjong we went to the new changi airport terminal 3 to check in. And it look budget indeed compare to the other 2 terminal. As we were early therefore we decide to have our breakfast there as well since budget flight dun offer nice food. We ate at hans each order a breakfast set. Anyway flight was 3hr+ and our first stop of the trip will be macau.

When we reach the airport we were pretty stun as we dunno wat to do and where to go. Tink backpacking is tough indeed. Anyway we manage to get some help and board a bus to the central where we start our schedule which was plan by jo.

First stop st paul ruin, we went there to take some pic and to eat the famous milk pudding. The pudding was quite ex $3plus sgd but it taste quite nice and milky indeed. After which we walk around to all the famous church and relic. Of cuz we taste the famous portuguese egg tart and the porkchop bun. The tart taste juz like wat singapore had and the porkchop bun was quite nice and cheap.

Anyway the whole of macau is fill with casino so how can we miss going to visit one of them. We visit Venetian which is the newest casino in macau. The exterior does look very grand but the interior was totally different very grand and pretty.

After which we decide to push forward our plan and go to zhuhai instead as macau had nothing much and we pretty much cover it all in half a day.Thus we take the free bus by venetian to the Zhuhai custom. All the shopping around zhuhai was within walking distance from the custom and the first thing we do is to check in to a hotel so that we can leave both ourluggage there which i have been carrying for the past half a day. Jo carry only 1hr and than complaint that it was heavy thus end up i carry 2 backpack.

Anyway the hotel was nice and cheap, 4 stars or so i tink. Rest for awhile before we walk around the place and had our dinner. Dinner was cheap compare to macau and it taste nice as well. After tat we continue shopping before calling it a day.

24 Nov

Went weiling bdae party at her place today with nooby. Reach there abit late cuz nooby dunno where the place is!! but still we find it by driving around. Reach there and started to play blackjack and she went to play mahjong. Anyway her place was quite nice and around 9 she cut the cake. Anyway tink blackjack i lose $ cuz pris win alot. Will update pic if weiling sent nooby the pic. =)

Anyway after weiling cut the cake we rush down to En lounge at MS where Henri and yansheng are celebrating their bdae. Miss dinner with them as i was at weiling place but bcuz weiling ask me first so no choice. Anyway the place was quite nice but nothing much to do juz slack and drink. Anyway Henri is super rich i tink cuz the way he drink and treat everybody drink like nobody business.

22nd Nov

Wow finally back from my long holidae in hk. Was very fun and refreshing! Went to alot of places like shenzheng,zhuhai,macau and lastly hongkong in just 8 days. Food was very nice and in china was cheap. Disneyland was super fun.

13 Nov - Happy birthday Joanne

Will be flying to hongkong to night 6am flight. Anyway today is Joanne birthday. Meeting her in the evening to have dinner with her and family. Her mum was nice to volunteer to sent us to the airport. Anyway i juz brought a new phone. K810I with cyber shot 3.2 megapixel so i can finally take more decent picture with my new camera.

Will take alot of picture during hte trips! =)

12 November

Back from joanne bdae chalet. Was quite a long stay from fridae til mondae 4 days and 3 night 1 more day longer than normal. Anyway was quite fun through except i dunno why my whole body will have rash at night maybe the bed was not clean but only me alone have this problem. Bcuz of this i have to bath alot of times even at 5am to stop the itch.

The bbq was on saturday and we went to Giants to buy the food and items for the night. We meet Sherri there cuz she was taking cab from home to Giants and she volunteer to help out with the shopping. We walk around the whole place and get all the item and pick up good deal! pandan cake for $1. Cheap rite! Anyway alot of other great deal avaliable.

Back at the chalet, i help to cut the sotong and clean the prawns/potato/corn. The girls juz pack the potato into the aluminum foil.

As usual, i had to start the fire anyway tink i am getting better at starting fire. Started a strong fire in a short time and maintaining it throughout the bbq session. Weiling job was to marinate the meat. She brought chicken wing, fillet and stingray.
Anyway the fillet was nice thx to wl's marination. However the otak from the supermarket taste quite badly, everyone agree it taste like vegetarian otak.

On sunday, all of us went to Escape theme park to play. Was my first time there anyway the ride was very limited and worse afew of the ride was down so we juz try watever was avaliable. Go kart was fun for ppl who have no license. Haunted house was scary for girls and kids. And the wet & wild is very wet. Inverter was most fun =)

Finally 9 nov reach! 1 more day to payday! 1 more day to yl chalet and 4 more day to hk trip. Anyway 2molo will be more last day of work cuz i clearing my off on mondae and tue and from wed onward i will be clearing leave!

Juz reach home after 2hrs of long run. Run the perimeter of sengkang. Distance i tink around 19+km? anyway 24 day to my standard charter! need to complete my 30km run before i start to rest for the big day!
