End August!

2nd part of August pass so fast! 6 more days to ORD! 2 working day to ORD! End of OCS (my NS life) chapter.

Anyway last wkend was damn busy! Went for 2 BBQ!
First is cattie 21st bdae celebration bbq + buffet. Held at ECP was pretty fun when the early birds play and gossip in the room. However think we offend some1 =/ After this incident we were pretty sian already! Went to the resort lobby to chat again and cam whore!

After tat went back to the chalet since we are there might as well have fun! Rest of the group came! and we went back the room to chill. Anyway was pretty fun! catherine bdae cake was like chui diao after she mishandle it. Since already chui her relative juz push her face in! Shit! how come they are faster than us =X Anyway the night end up quite fun with forfeit and FOC game! Would have stay late if not for AHM the next day!

Army half marathon!
Wake up at 5 while slept at 3am after reaching home from catherine bdae. Have to thk small wilson since he drive me home! anyway take a cab down marina square and than walk over to start pt. Since it rain the night before, the ground was damn muddy! imagine my trump 5! new and white in colour! omg end up dirty and wet! Anyway run was not good becuz halfway through the fatigue set in! feel like sleeping but juz had to keep pushing. Anyway if not for the caffeine in the powerjel, tink i will have give up already juz too sleepy! Anyway at the 19km mark decide to slow down bcuz there is still like 20min for me to complete the rest of the 2.2km or so. After jogging for like 6min, realise tat the 20km signboard nv appear so i end up have to sprint!

Run the rest of the 2km+ in like 10min! which is damn shag! after reaching at the end pt, saw tat its 2hr07.17sec! OMG did i fail the 2hr6min target? damn sian and shag saw tingfeng. Walk around for like 15min to look for 100plus! and at first wanted to go clarke quay with daryl but we were like damn shag so end up we decide to go home slp.

End of the day? not quite! 2pm i still have to rush down to pasir ris to meet up with the SRC-UOL sport peeps! End up i was like freaking early! and it was like raining damn heavily! anyway majority of the early bird are like girls and i was like the odd 1 out =/

Anyway Sport peeps are quite fun! and i kana tau poh by them! play some muddy game. Overall this bbq was fun cuz i no need to set up fire and there are like ppls bbq-ing food for us!

Another happy occasion is tat i am goin to ORD in 6 days! clearance nearly finish! ORD present collected! Cleared my stuff thanks to my mum help! And recovering from my injurieS! Collected my FIC and sport climbing cert! And my supplements have arrived! Time to grow STRONG!

Mid August!

Watch 3 movie consequetively: Sunday,Monday and Today!.

Last friday went for SRC sport meeting at around afternoon. The turnout was great! i tink total str is like 100+ squeeze in a small lecture hall! lol end up quite alot of ppl was standing. After which we will spilt into our different group. Oh! i was in sport! not much of a surprise given that i am good in it i guess. I was part of the Challenge Shield committee with Eva and alot others. Anyway play some ice breaking game and get to noe more frens majority are the seniors. Overall can tell tat sport are more active as in they are a bunch of playful and fun loving peepS.



Sun
Didn't went for DB training as sort of injured my lower back =( this mean no gym + no chin up! basically no exercise for this week! Anyway meet up with the SAF brother! thought got quite a big turn out! but end up! only the brothers are there. Went Ichiban for sushi but only they eat cuz had my meal at home already. Juz order a drink. After which we went walking around town. Book ticket for 12 lotus. Anyway juz order seat for 2 since CG got tuition! And we order a couple seat! CG was like ... and we keep say he is like damn old fashion. Which he is!

12 lotus is quite nice if u like 881. Like 881, it was like a muscial and u muz understand a bit of hokkien b4 u can watch it.

Monday.
Went sch on monday for PBF, first half of lesson was alone cuz gary overslept. Anyway after tat had lunch in town follow by goin town to shop for catherine's 21th bdae present. Was a tough task given that we had limited budget. After shopping for like 1hr we decide to give up and wait for xing siew to come and give some suggestion =(
Anway we went taka mac to eat first while waiting for xing siew to arrive. After which we wanted to buy a coach wallet but budget too tight! lol. Anyway Eva also arrive to give us idea too. In the end we went home empty handed lol!

After which i went AMk hub with perry, meeting my mum for movie! Yeah movie no 2: money not enuff. Ok was not bad as they say. Maybe the start was quite stupid, but story line was good. Manage to understand the morale of the story: filial piety.
Story was quite sad but at time quite funny. Overall worth the $6 ticket price! thx to NET! lol









Tuesday! today

Went sch again for POA make another 2 frens! Have lunch with the same gang again after which Wilson2 ask us to watch movie. Left only like wai kit and me. Wai kit was damn relutant so in the end he nv go. Only the both of us went town! Went Cathay and end up decide to watch Meet Dave. Ok another $6 movie so was worth it. Overall was quite happy cuz both the movie i watch for $6 was only worth tat amt in my opinion.

Watch the first event of beijing 2008 - women weight lifting below 48kg, the winner was very strong lifting more than 2x her body weight. Make me feel that i am like super weak. Anyway 2molo another day of training for Dragonboat, but super early like 745 which mean i have to wake up early again. NDP was quite nice and today was super slack for me. Rest day for my body. Anyway need to slp now if not 2molo sure cannot wake up so early.

Went back school for SRC interview, overall the interview was not so difficult juz tat the waiting time is super duper long like 1 1/2 hr while the interview itself is like 20min. Anyway choose challenge shield as my first choice as it seem to be a big event and involve alot of sport.

After tat went to canteen to find the rest of the peeps slacking there. Follow them to PS to watch movie and eat a manhatten. Order fish and chip which was very worth it cuz of the huge serving. Anyway after tat we watch the love guru, starring jessica alba Mike Myers, Justin Timberlake. Show was overall normal but only some part was funny.

after tat slack at Mac to talk cock til like 11plus before reaching home. Next day 16km punishing run which is needed b4 AHM =(

Random Aug

Went shopping with daryl last monday, he wanted to get formal attire for his graduation while i juz dun wan to spend my day at home so off we went to town!
Anyway end up spending alot of $ at nike bird!

Buy the nike+ running kit for ipod which enable me to record the distance i run => good since i need to train for my AHM and standard chartered marathon which i sign up juz bcuz of the early bird package. Anway i sabo daryl by asking him to sign! one more person to suffer with me but anyway to him is the last chance to run since he goin oversea soon.

I also brought a nike gym bag which is super duper big! I brought it after tinking for quite some time and is the 3rd nike bird i enter b4 buying it. ANyway was quite worth it since got 20% discount and it can be use for gym and dragonboat training (but really abit too big).

I also brought a roller to train core! OCS used to have 1 but some idiot stole it. saw it at stadium and the price was pretty reasonable so juz tink it will be a reasonable investment. =/

Last but not least went with daryl to take IPPT, finally cleared it so 1 less thing to worried about and now we are happily signing our clearance.

Ok month of august was very busy. Went for UOL-SRC Freshman orientation camp. Overall was a great experience cuz make alot of new frens. The camp is fun and interesting and my orientation group (OG) mates are a bunch of fun loving ppl =) The OGLs done a great job in ice breaking and enabling us to bond together. First day was used for ice breaking and team building game. We run the whole of pasir ris park playing game and getting ourselves wet and dirty.

Day 2 was something like amazing race where we run around again like mad ppls in town area doing stupid thing. We take picture with macdonald manager, kiss some ang mo (the ger), find twin, eat nasty food, take photo with cashier etc ... all the stupid thing. After which we went back to our camp. Night was pretty boring with all the SP ( secret pal ) program and game. The dinner was so called the best but even so not filling and nice at all. After which you have to walk the whole of pasir ris park with ur SP doing stupid thing. Anyway after the SP program our whole OG decide to stay awake the whole night but slowly 1 by 1 all start to fall asleep until left like afew of us. After which we break camp and went downtown east to have lunch.

The next major event will be the Dragonboat orientation at sentosa. Was very fun as the seniors are quite friendly. They are not as arrogrant as they look =X Anyway the price is cheap also as each of us pay only like $5 and it include entrance plus food =) Also make alot of new frens and future team mates =) Realise that the gers there are not as scary as rumour. Some are slim and not mascular juz tone i guess.

Next up will be the bash which is so call part 2 of the FOC. Anyway before the bash we had an OG dinner together. Went waraku for dinner. Order the chicken katsu set and realise that it come with 2 extra sets of noodle the soba and cold noodle! omg so much carbo. Anyway we chit chat there til late evening before we walk around take some pic and went for the bash.

Butter factory was very wulu and even the exterior of the club have nothing outstanding! no colourful and bright signboard. lucky got some SRC ppl walkin around if not ... Anyway the place is small and the music sux really. Nothing much to do until everybody decide if we dun dance it kind of defeat the purpose so everybody juz stand around the stand floor. =/ Didn't want to stay very late but have to share cab with seryew cuz he live near me and seryew was like quite high tat night dancing
non - stop. End up we stay thoughout the event til like 3am before taking cab back.
